Universities Asset Securitization Financing Way

The financing method of asset securitization has been used widely in theinvestment and financing field, and has become a major financing method inwestern advanced capital market, and it speeds up the development of theeconomics and social. In out country, asset securitization was been used lately,but there's still some successful cases. Aiming at the financial straits manycolleges have been confronted with, this paper attempts to introduce theinnovative financing method to college and tries to find a comparatively reliableand stable financing channel.After high-speed development of last ten years, many colleges have beenconfronted with the scarcity of teaching resources and can't satisfy the badlyneed to higher education, therefore, the colleges has been increasing theinvestments in college's software and hardware environment continually.However, a great many colleges have been faced with severe fund gap. Thispaper points out that collecting funds for college through asset securitizationfrom the capital market is a feasible choice by analyzing the traits of the usingof funds by colleges and the limitation of traditional financial methods forcolleges' financing, and further analyzing the feasibility of asset securitizationin college financing.Based on the feasibility of asset securitization in colleges' financing andtaking the traits of securitizable assets in colleges into account according to thebasic principals of asset securitization, this paper attempts to design the detailedpattern of college asset securitization, and discusses the probable problems,risks and measurements in implementing it.
