Government Action In The Employment Of College Graduates In China Study

As a populous developing country, China government has always attached very great importance to higher education and the corresponding graduating students' employment which concern economic growth and social stability. Though the government has done a lot of work for graduating students' employment, there are still some aspects should be improved. Therefore, the research of government activities in graduating students' employment is of great practical value.Firstly, this thesis stated the definition and characteristics of employment, graduating students' employment and the employability of graduates, outlined the main points of the domestic scholars who have researched on government activities in the graduating students' employment.Secondly, it surveyed the evolution of our country's graduating students' employment policies, introduced the successful measures of some developed countries' governments, and summarized the role of government activities in the graduating students' employment.Thirdly, the thesis introduced the current situation of graduating students' employment, pointed the government activities imperfections in graduating students' employment from the higher schools, graduating students, the employing units, and the graduate students' employment market.Finally, the thesis optimized the government activities in graduating students' employment from the followings aspects: the value-oriented activities, the adjustment of the government's policies, the supervision and management activities, and the government guidance and services.
