The twenty-first century is the key period of talent competition. With theconstant development of economy, the advancement of science and technology andthe continuous civilization of politics, the whole society’s expectations for talentshave become higher. Therefore, college students’ employment has become people’sfocus. The fierce employment competition has not only increased students’psychological pressure, but also induced their different psychological reactions andpsychological problems, which will directly affect college students’ employmentdirection, talents’ distribution in human resource market and the achievement ofcollege students’ employment goals. Therefore, the whole society should ponder onand study the important issue of how to objectively and comprehensively analyzecollege students’ mental problems the in the process of choosing professions, guidestudents to build up the correct employment concept, and thus put forward scientificand effective measures.Based on philosophy, psychology, the related theory of ideological and politicaleducation, and college students’ psychological analysis, this research paper studiescollege students’ employment psychological problems profoundly,. It can be dividedinto four parts:The first part is an introduction of the background, significance of the researchand related theories. The second part expounds such concepts as choosing professions,employment, students’ employment psychology and analyses college students’positive psychology and existing problems when choosing professions. Students’positive employment psychology is divided into four aspects: participation incompetition, independent consciousness, being confident, and pursuit of futher study;meanwhile, college students’ employment psychological problems are analyzedrespectively from four aspects: high employment expectations, employment anxiety,blindly following others’ employment choice, and dependent psychology. The thirdpart touches on the influential factors of students’ employment choice and thoroughlyanalyzes the factors from four aspects: social environment, school education, familyeducation and personal growth. The forth part is about countermeasures of college students’ psychological problems in employment choice. This part proposescountermeasures from four levels: the attention to strengthen social education, schooleducation and individual education as well as their focus on family education, on thebasis of analyzing the influential factors of student’s psychological problems inemployment choice.This paper has important guiding function and some theoretical value in that itcan improve university students’ psychological quality, develop college students’positive psychology, enhance the psychology bearing capacity and anti-frustrationability of university students in the process of choosing profession, help them tosucceed in employment and become useful talents serving for the people in thesociety.
