As the increasingly development of the employment system of the graduates in ourcountry, the employment mechanism of the graduates in high schools has already changed fromthe former employment pattern of the so called "unified collocation" to the presentemployment pattern of "two-way job-choosing;independently choose". This change providesmore choices of job-choosing for the graduates of the high school, meanwhile it also putforward more severe competition and challenge. Facing the opportunities and challengebrought by the reform, the graduates today show different psychology condition towards jobchoosing. On one hand, they congratulate themselves on catching good opportunities of reformand opening-up and they are happy to make their dreams and ambitions come true as soon aspossible. On the other hand, they feel worried about how to choose a profession which fitsthem well, and worry about the increasingly intense market competition, which are alwaysshown by different psychological characteristics as follows: anxious, impatient, inferior, timid,conceit, dependent, competing, envious, eager for quick success and immediate gain, vanityand indifferent. To some extent, all these psychological problems affect the graduates'job-choosing behavior and the probability in choosing the right job successfully;it alsobecomes one of the key problems which puzzle the work of moral education and employmentwork of the graduates in high school.It is the basic work and intrinsic request of higher education to cultivate healthypsychology of the job-choosing for the university students. As an organic constituent ofhigher education, the healthy psychological education in university students' job choosinghas a can't –be -constituted function and significance. It not only relates to the study, life,work, health and overall development, it also relates to the self development and constructionof high school;relates to success or failure of our country's educational cause;and relates tothe harmony and stability of our society. Nowadays, modern society is in great need of variousmulti-skill talents and all-round talents of high quality. As for the graduates of high school, it isnot only necessary for them to possess high quality of morality, science, culture and health, it isalso necessary to possess excellent quality of psychology. While for a long time, high schoolhave paid more attention to the education of professional skill, ignoring the quality ofpsychology that is closely related to employment. The defects in educational theory andpractice affect the improvement of university student' psychological quality towardsemployment to some degree. Therefore, developing psychological health education ongraduates' employment in high school and cultivating talents of high quality to meet thedemand of society, have become urgent historical mission for educationists working in highschools. This article starts form three historic phases of development of psychological healtheducation about high school students' employment, analyzing the achievement and defects, andalso makes a correct analysis and reasonable probe into the present state of psychologicalhealth education and their psychological features during the process of job-choosing, tryinghard to put forward various countermeasures in educational modes and methods to furtherstrengthen and improve psychological health education about graduates' employment in highschools.
