Leisure Education In Serving Adult Leisure Studies

Owning leisure is the venerable dream of human. In old Greece Aristotlehad said:"man is happy only when he has leisure, and use the leisure correctlyis the basic to be a freedom man." Today, with the development of science andtechnology, the dream is becoming a reality gradually. But if without the correctguiding and education leisure also may be trap. For example, the improperleisure or the indulgently leisure not only make us be easy to idle our time andgo astray but also bring bad influence to society ethos. So leisure needseducation.With the rise of industry civilization, education became gradually "theeducation for position", which brought up the main body of work, while leisureis ignored. This made many problems in our daily leisure life. At the same time,leisure education in our country is very lag. One reason is traditional cultureemphasis on "hard working", on the other hand is people has the prejudice onleisure and leisure was looked down on for its "inutility", especially in oursociety of "benefit is paramount". So we strongly call for the study of leisureeducation theory, to arise people to care about it to reconsider the aim of oureducation, to concern with the quality of our life, to make good use of leisureand finally make us own a kind of freedom, aesthetic and harmonious life.This thesis has three parts:The first, in this part, the paper addresses the background, foreign anddomestic study. As the leisure education study just starts up in China, theintroduction puts emphases on the foreign studies in this area. it unscramblesthe understanding of leisure and leisure education through looking back thetraditional idea. On this basis form the point of view "Recreation and leisureeducation is the inevitable requirement for the development of society andhistory", and make it as the basic of the thesis.The second, this part analysis the problem of real-life leisure, finally draw aconclusion on "leisure call education". Then focus on the reality of leisureeducation in our country to explain why leisure education must get moreattention as an age task.The third, it tries to discuss the theory of leisure education. The concept of leisure and leisure-education is defined while the characteristics and thefunction of leisure-education of adults is analyzed. Besides, the thesisanalyses the single subject model and consultation model in leisure educationof adults. And this part pays attention to the adult leisure education of theconsultation pattern to construct the construction.The forth, on the basic of discuss then bring forward the practiceconstruction of leisure education. It elaborated the leisure education goal,method view as well as the way with emphasis. It embarked to the leisureeducation constructs the construction to put forward the proposal from thecollage, the government, the society and the populace media. It gives anemphasis discussion on adult college education that is the main body ofleisure education. Secondly, government, society and populace media shoulduse their advantage to develop all kinds of leisure resource to cooperate withschool, achieve the aim to have people make good use of leisure and have agood life. On this basis, as a theoretical study, this paper has only analyzedthe education of leisure method in the general guiding ideology, namely"External factors identified" and "Internal factors determine style." From theanalysis, I hope that I can have some certain instruction functions for theimplementation of leisure educationPeople are education's object, caring for people's spirit world iseducation's soul; ready-made for people's life is the education's mission. Soeducation should pay attention to not only job but also leisure. Through thestudy on "leisure education", we find that not only it shouldn't be a field ofvacant but also it is an enrichment and development that adapts education tothe society. "Leisure education" has been a new visual angle.
