At present, surrounding the quality education and innovation education, the reformation of basic education is getting along smoothly in compelling situation under the direct lead of the center of the Chinese Communist and the State Department. The curriculum reformation compendium about basic education points that the trend of paying attention to imparting knowledge in the past should be changed and emphasize on cultivate active studying attitude and advocate students to participate in various activities, be interested in looking into the causes , and cultivate abilities of students in collecting and dealing with information , in obtaining new knowledge, analyzing and settling practical problems and communicating and cooperating with others.The criterion of new physical curriculum puts forward the theory that education should focus on improving scientific attainment and spirit of researching and advocate the qualities of independence, research and cooperation of students in studying physics. Education should put students into the course of researching and make them experience the whole process and perceive the methods, stimulate their interests and desires and cultivate their abilities of studying initiatively in the process of exploring to realize the change of studying fashions step by step. Physical curriculum should reflect the abroad contact between physics and technology and society comprehensively---from life to physics, from physics to society.This paper basing on the request of the reform of basic education curriculum, think that it is a good form to develop case teaching in physics teaching in middle school. It is also a bridge built for all teachers from the theory of new curriculum to practice and a effective approach of obtaining teaching and studying win-win. This method play a very important role in the progress of teachers and curriculum reform.This paper includes four parts.The first part states that the background of the development of physics case teaching in domestic and abroad and also states that the central questions in case teaching currently. All these problems make the methods of case teaching have strong necessary and feasibility.The second part states the method of case teaching and correlative concepts in theory view. This part also states that the theory foundation of researching the method of case teaching and discuss how to compile and actualize the cases of teaching.The third part narrate the process of practice of physics teaching in middle school through the combination of theory discussion and the cases and the actual conditions of physics teaching. This part also evaluate and analyze the results in this practice and improve and design the policies for the next practice.In the final part, this paper summarizes and analyzes the research and the process of practice and put forward some advice and directions for the successive research.
