Among the new curriculum reform, an autonomous, cooperative and exploratory learning style and the teaching methods related to it become the focus of concern. How to grasp the new teaching method? How to achieve Discovery Learning? What sorts of teaching strategy and mode are needed for the Cognitive -Discovery learning in the process of language teaching? The teaching experience from the language teacher, YuYingchao provides a rich and profound answer. In this paper, Guide - Found language teaching mode from YuYingchao is mainly discussed.The theoretical and practical meaning of Guide - Found language is of great significance. Due to the insufficient study of Bruner's Discovery Learning theory at present, the part of discovery in the Discovery -Found learning mode is stressed inappropriately and on the other hand, the body role of students is blindly exaggerated, however, the leading role of teachers is underrated. Based on the students' psychological characteristics and the character of language course teaching, YuYingchao's theory rectifies the false understanding of the teaching theory and teaching practice and forms Guide promoting Discovery language teaching mode.In this paper, YuYingchao's lessons as well as some parts of his theory are profoundly discussed,at same time the characters of his theory model is summed up. They are mainly: to abandon the traditional teaching method---instillation, to take advantage of the use of vivid explanation and to creatively understand and apply Bruner's Discovery Learning and combine it with the character of language.The most unique character of YuYingcaho's theory is that he succeeds in keeping the balance between Leading and Affecting.YuYingchao's Guide - Found teaching model provides many teaching strategies. After the assessment of his lesson and the study of his theory in the paper, the main strategies of his theory are summarized, that is, task guide strategy, problem guide strategy, interest-inspired strategy, situational guide strategy, method guide strategy and contrast strategy.YuYingchao's Guide -Found language teaching mode is closely related to the main types of lessons he developed. In this paper, some of the lesson types YuYingchao commonly uses are experimented and analyzed, such as Linguistic class, Reading class, Literature Application class and Instruction class. The general model of these lesson types are discussed on the base of specific cases.
