Higher Administrative Efficiency Study

Today, as higher education continues expanding to a larger scale, universities that undertake this cause of education play a main role in meeting people's expectations. Universities are rapidly developing; bring in opportunities as well as challenges. It is an honor that universities who gradually become the culture, knowledge and research centers are attracting people's eyes. However, we should realize that survival crisis of universities is covered by the seemed good demand for higher education. Is the administration level in university improved when universities are updating large amount of hardware facilities? We can not respond to this question with an affirmative answer. As universities promote their social status, the competitions between them become fiercer. These competitions urge universities to focus on their problems of self-perfection in addition to asking the nation and society to offer necessary systems and material conditions for their development. Organizational perfection depends on scientific and efficient management. The efficiency of administration in university has an immediate impact on the development of our cause of higher education and the course of modernization construction. Our investment in higher education is restricted by economy level of development, which can not meet demand from higher education and the society. One of the solutions is to enhance administration efficiency in university, make proper use of present educational resources and exert our best effort on present human resources, material resources and financial resources. Therefore, administration efficiency really plays an important role in present university management.At present, it is all-pervading in university that the administration groups and construction of the administration systems lag behind with low administration efficiency. This dissertation aims to discuss the problem how to improve administration efficiency in university administration. It tries to find the way to improve administration efficiency in university by means of analyzing university management process in the following aspects: roles of administrant, enhancement of value, target management, performance evaluation and feedbacks.
