The integration of modern IT and the chemistry course in the high school teaching has become an important part of basic education reform in the 21th century. In recent years, the application of IT is getting more and more attention in chemistry teaching and both the scale and scope are being extended gradually. Practicing shows that through the integration of the chemistry course and the IT, one can optimize the class teaching, strengthen teaching effect and improve the teaching quality.As far as the applying IT in high school chemistry teaching at present is still at the research stage. With the development of IT and basic education, there are still many misunderstandings and deficiency in practice while people apply the modern IT in their teaching. Some people exaggerate the effect of IT in teaching. They think that the modern IT is omnipotent and could solve all problems appearing in traditional teaching. Whereas, others just have an opposite view. They think that the multimedia teaching just changes in a form but not in content, like wearing new shoes to walk on the old path. Some teachers simply apply the modern IT method by replacing the explanation with the multimedia and blackboard writing with a projector, regardless of the teaching content, approach, and objectives. Others use the IT all the time in a class without considering proper timing, turning teaching from teacher-centralized into PC centralized.In this paper, we give a deep analysis to the current situation of applying the information technology to the course review for the height-school grade three and find issues in teaching practice. We also search for the relationship between the IT and the course review, from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and the role of IT in teaching. Several approaches of application of IT in chemistry review course are illustrated. We have studied the integration of teaching and modern IT, as well as the teaching content for net teaching program. We focus on the IT application in course review, based on the student's state in review, different review contents, and different stages of class teaching to analyze the application of modern IT.Moreover, we investigate the impact of IT on students' study and the teachers' teaching methods . We intend to find the best joint between IT and review course, speed the integration process of IT and chemistry teaching, and make their effective combination, in order to break down the dull atmosphere in review classes, motivate students, increase student participation, and make the teaching optimization in the review course.
