As the reform of basic education course has been carried 7 years, the style of teaching and the method of learning of political (moral) course were changed dramatically, and Notable successes have been attained in classroom reform. While many teachers have not realized how to deal with the a great deal of cartoon which appears in the teaching material. The processing of the usage in the classroom teaching also exists a certain problem. Not only the interest of students study was influenced, but the student's imagination, thinking ability even the creative power were restrained. Therefore, the teacher of high school ideological and political (moral) course should carry on a thorough research to the cartoon analytical, combine with the students'actual, exploit the function of cartoon in the teaching and the student development fittingly.In this paper, the needs of the political(moral qualities) course reform of the high school to be set out, the definition analysis of the cartoon and the cartoon teaching as the analytical point, The cartoon teaching of political(moral qualities) course was researched by means of literature, observational and contrast comparison method. The content of this paper as follows:In the first part, cartoon was pointed out as a kind of painting with the brevity of composition, the exaggerator of image and content, and great humorous. The political (moral) course cartoon teaching of high school is a method means that political (moral) course should make use of cartoon in political (moral) course opportunely, guide students to comprehend the title and clue, disclose the intrinsic information and truth of cartoon, see through the appearance to perceive the essence, and combined with teaching material to complete teaching task better and realize teaching target. Cartoon teaching aim to optimize the teaching process and implement the teaching important point, which can call the student's sense, moderate the knowing-doing of students, and grasp the certain logic of text and diagram, change the shift information transmittal from single mode to diversification by means of cartoon. So, the whole information process in the classroom will be rich and colorful, and become an indiscrete mass. The theory foundation of the political (moral) course cartoon teaching was elaborated in the second part. According to the subject of students in view of educational theory, cartoon teaching hold the teaching principle of "teacher is predominance, student is subject" in the cartoon teaching. The students'motivation was aroused and the subjectivity was greatly exploited in Cartoon teaching. The psychologist thinks that the cognition curiosity is the core of the inside learning motive, a kind of study drive of pursuing the outside information and learning, accordingly which appears as curious, pursuit, operation and control behavior. The problem in cartoon teaching should be based on the cognitive level and knowledge-base of students, which keeps students on suspended interest to make the best result. The learning process is also a kind of understanding activity from theory of knowledge of dialectical materialism. The general knowledge law is developed from perceptual knowledge into rational knowledge, and from the abstract up to the concrete. Based on the law, cartoon teaching make perceiving things appeal to the student's sense, so as to reached the transition"from perceptual intuition to abstract thinking", and then the rational knowledge is used to analyze the social phenomenon and instruct social life.The characteristic and function of the political (moral qualities) cartoon course of high school was analyzed in the third part. Firstly, the characteristic of the political (moral qualities) cartoon course of high school, including living, opening, initiative and practicality, was pointed out. Secondly, the important role of cartoon teaching was emphasized, which make use of the cartoon which closed with teaching material contents and come close with reality life to help the students to grasp knowledge greatly, contribute to student's comprehension with teaching material and solve the important and difficult indices, and then inspire the student's interest and keep alert in class; train student's ability with the improvement of overall quality.The problem and solving strategy of the political (moral qualities) cartoon course of high school were considerate in the firth part. The main problems of cartoon teaching as follows: common sight, familiar seeing, just pecking, and a little of every thing; understanding with prejudice and operation with irrelevancy, learn by rote lack of instruction, Read item by item from the text and escape from actual etc. Accordingly, the method and principle of solving these problems should be analyzed and discussed from two aspects. Firstly, cartoon teaching should correspond with teaching target and solidify knowledge, combine with cultivating students'ability and inspiring their moral feeling. Next, the idea that students'sense should be exploited and their entire quality should be improved. At the same time, reasonable method of cartoon teaching, namely, grasping the essence and teaching thought of cartoon, designing question well and teaching situation, advocating practical training, selecting and changing cartoon, respecting student's emotion and arousing student's potential, attaining benefit by association together combining other teaching means, should be established.In conclusion, the political(moral qualities) cartoon cource of high school regarded as a teaching stytle, which apply pleasant and humorous method to serious problems, such as social, economic, political even ethical etc., to bring about the goal of teaching with enjoyment. In the future, cartoon teaching will continue exertive it's charm and bloom gorgeous brilliance in the political(moral qualities) cartoon cource of high school.
