Education and culture are closely related, they are inseparable. Therefore, to view the classroom and to explore the essence and inherent nature of education through cultural perspective has gradually become a hot topic in the current educational research. From a cultural perspective, the classroom reform is the cultural collision, integration and update between the old and new classroom cultures. In this sense, the classroom reform can be regarded as the transformation and remodeling of the classroom culture. As one of the classroom element, classroom culture interacts with the classroom activities and other cultural elements to form a special cultural configuration. It subtly exerts influence and constraints on people, not easily realized. In this paper, based on the analysis of real primary Chinese lectures, I would like to clarify the cultural elements of classroom and their inherent links, to reveal the core of classroom culture, and finally try to make certain suggestions on primary Chinese lectures. This paper is divided into three parts:In Part I, I would like to give the definition of classroom culture. The definitions of "classroom", "culture", "classroom culture" and related concepts are given. The cultural elements of classroom culture, such as teachers and students, teaching methods and contents, classroom environment and the real world life, and the relationship between those cultural elements are analyzed. In Part II, the analysis of primary Chinese lectures is given. Based on my classroom observation and after-school interviews, I have analyzed how the various cultural elements influence the creation and development of a classroom culture. In Part III, I try to give suggestions on primary Chinese classroom teaching, based on the above analysis. Namely, to view the primary Chinese language class as cultural process; to view the group of students and teacher-student relationship as the cultural main body; to view the teaching strategies as cultural embodiment; to conduct the classroom teaching and research with a total cultural perspective, and finally to improve teachers' professional levels.
