Along with the deepening of quality-oriented education gradually, class culture constructing has been paid more and more attention by schools and educators. As an important part of class culture, classroom wall-culture plays an extremely important role in students’ growing up. However, in practical educational situations, the classroom wall-culture constructing also has some problems. This thesis intends to study on constructing classroom wall-culture in primary schools with the methods of literature, questionnaire, interviewing and case analysis. First, it elaborates the phenomenon of lacking educational function and analyzes its causes. Then,it demonstrates the feasibility of educating by classroom wall-culture, followed by two case analyses. Next, it summarizes the ideas of classroom wall-culture construction. Finally, it puts forward strategies on how to construct classroom wall-culture.The study shows that there exists some problems in classroom wall-culture construction:formalized objective, “off-student” participant, the static state of wall-culture throughout the term and students’ negative feeling to the wall-culture. The thesis analyzes the problems on these three aspects: schools’ value orientation, teachers’ core sense of teaching and their professional knowledge and skills on classroom management. Three theories are extracted:student-oriented, moral education first and returning to students’ life. Basing on that, strategies for constructing classroom wall-culture are concluded: making students as main participants, making students’ life as main content, making innovation and optimism main spirit, making class features and students’ personality cultivation as main form. The thesis puts forward strategies of classroom wall-culture construction from the view of cultural education. It is hoped that this finding will develop and perfect relevant studies and provide some references for constructing school and class culture.
