The classroom is the crucial place for teaching and education.It is also the prime place for the interaction between teachers and students.The classroom,which plays an irreplaceable role in the process of educating students,is an important spatial field in the growth and development of young students.The culture of classroom in the primary schools,with the classroom space layout,the design of the wall culture,the construction of the system culture and other aspects as the carrier,plays a role in the training of talents.It is a kind of potential educational resources,through the externalized culture of material,the system culture of internalized and some rich theme activities subtly influenced the students of the primary school,giving play to the potential education of morality,wisdom,beauty and other practical education functions.How to give full play to the educational function of classroom culture is a significant educational topic.Just in the real life,under the background of score competition and exam-oriented education in most primary school classrooms in China,the construction of humanistic space in classroom environment is not generally valued.In people's daily habits,the classroom is only regarded as a competitive battlefield for carrying out teaching activities,training and examinations,while the cultural education function of the classroom is not paid enough attention.And how to play the educational function of primary school classroom culture is still in the exploration stage of implementation.Based on this,this research choose the classroom culture,senior students,head teachers,the school administrators of Portland Newberg,5 primary schools in the United States and 5pubilc schools of Yueyang Tower district of Hunan province in China.;through the method of observation,the method of questionnaire,the method of interview and the method of literature research,on both sides the metope of the elementary school classroom culture,space layout,system culture construction to compare,and to have an in-depth understanding of the specific implementation of cultural education function in primary schools in China and the United States.The survey found that:1.The culture of classroom of these elementary schools in Yueyang Tower District and Portland lack systematic planning and fixed the guidance of theme.2.The elementary schools' classroom cultural content update frequency were not high in Yueyang Tower district.3.In Yueyang tower district's elementary school classroom,they paid less attention to the students individual and could not fully mobilize the students' subjective initiative.4.Compared to Portland,the system culture of Yueyang tower district's elementary school displayed rigid slightly.Based on the above findings,this thesis puts forward measures such as strengthening the planning and design of classroom culture by schools and teachers,giving full play to the positive role of pupils,constructing themed classroom cultural environment,constructing rigid and flexible institutional cultural environment,etc.,in order to give play to the educational function due to elementary school classroom culture and promote the healthy growth of students.
