Study On Working Mechanism Of Instructors In Colleges And Universities

University instructors, as a mainstay in strengthening and improving college students' ideological and political level, are the leader and guide of the university students. In recent years, since The Central Committee and the State Council have paid highly attention on it, instructors' work has been developing rapidly with the university's growth, which plays a positive role in promoting university's reform and developing strategies and maintaining the university's and social stability. However, there are still some probloms which should not be neglected from the present situation. To establish and consummate the University instructors team now has a significant meaning , for it is concerned about whether we can carry out the Party's educatiopnal principle in an all-around way and enable every instructor's work to fulfil its plans. Therefore, how to establish and consummate the University instructor team becomes a importent subject which we have to face it.This essay comprehensively analyses the international and domestic new situation which instructors are facing at present, the reform and developing in Universitys, the change of today's students, the current situation of instructors' work and the existing problems and their reasons. In addition, this article makes a relatively systematic elaboration in how to establish and consummate working system of the University instructors.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part focuses on the meaning ,task and characteristics Of college instructor's work, describing the role of the instructor has palyed in different historical periods and its different connotations, the current college instructor's work connotations. The college instructor's basic task is to carry out ideological and political education, daily management and the provision of counseling services. Then it analyzes the basic features of the political features , educational features ,service and so on. In the second part, there is an analysis of the relevant elements of college instructor's working mechanism .Firstly,it analyzes college instructor's work on the mechanism of education in the subject of the object of education, education of referral, education and other related elements of the surroundings,then follows instrucions on the relationships between instructors with the relevant organizations and instructors with administrative people. The third part has analyzed the challenge and of the University instructors' work under the new situation and the the exsiting problems of the instructors themselves. This chapter has analyzed the globalization, market economy, the network era and the deepening of the reform of the higher education ---the four major challenges which the University instructors' work may be faced under the complex modernization environment. It also reflects the problems existing in the instructors' work, such as: the management pattern still far falls behind the needs of the situation of economic growth, unclear work objective and role location, assessment lacks of scientificaalness, continuity and seriousness, and lacking of long-effect mechanism in strengthening the instructors' troop construction. The fourth part focuses on how to consummate the working mechanism of the university instructors. It puts forword the ideas that we should establish the mechanism which has the features of stability and flexibility, that we should consummate the mechanism in the selection and appointment , training, motivation and incentive mechanism to evaluate, controlling instructors' working rules, regulating their working procedures of the operating mechanism. And in the end it carries out a prospect of college instructors 's working mechanism in the future development.This paper aims to bring forward the view of improving and perfecting the mechanism of college instructor'work , through analysing of the meaning,the task and characteristics ,working mechanism of the relevant elements and the challenges facing under new situation and the existing problems, with a view of promoting the exploration and research of college instructor's working mechanism ,and providing instructive inspiration.
