Management Problems And Countermeasures Of The New Era Of Student Affairs Research

In recent years, with the popularization of high education, the adoption of credit system, institutional reform of recruitment, employment and intuition, the connotation and function of college students'affairs changed tremendously. In the new era, the traditional model of students'affairs, which focused on political and ideal instruction and everyday administration, develop to the new one, which includes political and ideal education, students'development instruction, and everyday service.The study of this area has progressed correspondingly. However, some only discussed this topic theoretically, ignoring the practical aspects; others oversimplified the questions and measures, unsystematically and inaccurately.This paper tries to systematically analyze the present situation of college students'affairs management and, therefore, provide basis for proceeding research and practice. After the introduction of the history and basic ideals of college students'affairs management, the paper describes and explains the problems of the present college students'affairs management. Finally this paper proposes some measures to solve these problems, corresponding to their causes. The problems of present college students'affair management mainly contain three aspects: environment, staff, values and working methods, with their roots in social environment, ideal disorder and staff quality. All of these require us to change values and methods, reform institutions, and improve the quality of staff.
