The student affairs management is a brand-new transdisciplinary field, which includes moral education, advanced education management and school social work. The students affairs management in the university is an organic composition and expansion in moral education of university students.To develop the student affairs management in the university contributes a lot to the further consolidation and improvement of university students'moral education. However, in such an era of information network and economic globalization, the society is developing and the advanced education is reforming. Faced with the higher education's emphasis on some new education reform concepts like freedom, difference, openness, equality and creation etc, we can find there are many obvious problems about the modern student affairs management concept and the running mode which is far from being suitable for the development of the society and the students'real needs. Compared with the college student affairs management in developed countries such as America, Germany, France, Japan and U.K. which are based on the concept of student-development and students'- demand-oriented, their management teams are more socialized, standardized, professional and specialized. Therefore, based on the summary, inheritance and development of previous experience, how to learn from the advanced experience and constructive measurement in present developed countries has been a key point to the present college student affairs management, which not only facilitates student affairs management but also helps students to better adapt to the new circumstance. To systematically explore the college student affairs management in the present developed countries is a splendid attempt and provides a new perspective for the development and reformation of student affairs management in our country.Composed of four parts and by sorting out the origins of college student affairs management in the present developed countries (America, Japan, U.K, France, Germany and Austria) and studying the characteristics of their management models, the paper focuses on exploring the developing trends of management models in developed countries, aiming at finding out the enlightenment of the college student affairs management in developed countries on our country.Through exploring the origins, development, theoretical basis models and characteristics of college student affairs managements in America, Japan, U.K., France, Germany and Austria, the author extracts the similarity and differences of these countries on the management model----belief, objective and characteristics; and further extracts the reasons for the differences between developed countries and our country. At last, based on the previous comparison and analysis, the author sums up four major enlightenments on the college student affair management in our country. First, we need to rebuilt the "people-oriented" management concept, so as to make college student affairs management serve all people; Second, "student-centered" management should be emphasized and management pattern should be changed from "being managed" to "participate in management" and "co-management". Third, we need to improve services to realize flatmodel in college student affairs management; Fourth, establish professional personal to promote specialized macro-management of college student affairs.
