The curriculum reform in the new elementary education is being carried out , whose important mission is not only changing the knowledge and structure of curriculum, but also realizing the rational, healthy and perfect Life Education.The course,Moral Education, set up by Nine-Year Compulsory Education Schools is a very important basic subject. How can Life Education be relected in New Course Standard ? How to play the full role of Moral Education? How to carry out Life Education by practical teaching and learning activities ? From the respects of theory and practice as well as personal teaching experience, this paper discusses the necessity of Life Education, its theory in New Course Standard and the practical methods of carrying out Life Education .This paper has four parts. The first part expounds the general theories of Life Education, including the meaning and the source. Secondly, it discusses the necessity of carrying out Life Education in the new situation. In Part three, it compares the content and aim of Life Education in Moral Education in China with that in Taiwan and Hongkong. Finally , it offers some practical experience and thoughts on Life Education. Part three and Part Four are much emphasized and advocated.It is necessary to explore new ways to enrich teaching and to discover more about Life Education so as to awaken the awareness of life of the teenagers.
