The Positive Influence Of The Informal Group On The Socialization Of Middle School Students

The phenomenon of informal groups among the middle school students is a kind of objective existence in the group life in human society and cannot be neglected. It also exerts irreplaceable influence on the thoughts and behaviors as well as the socialization of the middle school students. Therefore, the informal groups, just like formal groups are the main participants faced by the educators. The proper understanding and treatment are the significant basis for socialization education. However, in the present education, educators have not paid enough attention to the informal groups by educators. Even if they valued the informal groups mainly attribute to the managing problem caused by the negative parts. They did not realize the significant importance to the individual development and their socialization process. As we all know, formal group have effected on the socialization of the middle school students by the visible and systematical way with contrast to the invisible and culturally features used by the informal groups in the school. In order to direct properly the process of socialization of the middle school students, the educator would not only be expected stress the function of the formal groups but also think much of the informal groups, as such as understanding, accepting and respect them. We all will not deny the informal groups include the positive groups and negative ones. Therefore, educators should give the properly direction to the negative informal groups and explore the positive factors from that.The paper consist of six chapter demonstrate as followed. Firstly, we make the definition such as informal group and socialization of the middle school students. Furthermore, it can be made clear that the existence of informal groups in the middle school students is necessary and certain by that. Based on the analysis above, we can agree that informal group, as the "background" life, is the real arena of the socialization of the middle school students. Secondly, diversities of informal groups existing among the middle school students communicate students by the way of cultural. Cultural exert the influence on the style of interactive activities which is the basic path of socialization of the middle school students. Therefore, the paper will analyze the socialization problem through the angle of cultural and interactive activities among the middle school students. At last, the paper makes the measures clear of how to strengthen the function of informal group. In order to achieve that point, educators should make the proper understanding and respect the informal group. Besides that, they still setup the proper view of education and the relationship between teacher and student, promoting the socialization function of middle school students.
