Class is the most important area for students’ individual and social development, and it’s also a formal group to educate students with purpose and plan in school. However, there must exist some informal groups which have different influence on students’ individual and class development. The fact is that there are less research focus on the problems of classes in rural middle school especially those informal groups. Thus the author hope to find out an effective way to guide those informal groups throw this research, so as to promote the students’ individual and social development; to create conditions for class management and development, the students’ family harmonious or even the stability of the society.The essay is divided into seven parts to research the current situation and the guide of informal groups in rural junior middle school. The first part is introduction, which is mainly about: 1) the background and significance on this problem; 2) the definition of the core concept on the subject; 3) analysis of different research both at home and abroad; 4) The fourth part analyzed the influences that these problems caused; 5) The fifth part analyzed why the problems happened.; 6) The sixth part is about a series of measures for the problems; 7) The seventh part is a reflection on this research.The research focus on the status and problems of informal groups in the case class, in order to construct a harmonious class interpersonal relationship, to promote the development of the class, to cultivate students’ healthy personality and healthy psychology, and to improve students’ spiritual life quality. The research analyzes the current situation of informal groups from the gender, family background, interest, role, behavior, influence and their types and characteristics. And analyzes the reasons from three aspects, that is, the school, the family, and the students. The research analyzes the influence on students’ growing and class management. Specific measures are promoted to those informal groups in the class and highlight the measures of educating and guiding the them. To be more detail, let them be the main role of students in class rules, and cultivate their sense of belongings. Through the mental health classes and psychological counseling of adolescent students in mood and treat the opposite sex, and to guide the community members to help each other. Make them be the core members through activities and educate them. This research analyzes the cooperation among the school, the teacher and the parents thus to educate and guide the informal groups in class. In this way, students’ individual and social development achieved good result and improved class management at the same time. Finally, the research on case class has worthy recognition, but for the special nature of the case, there still some limitation. Further case studies are needed to further test its effectiveness.
