Case Study Of Quality Of Teachers Of Vocational Colleges

Anhui province is very important in China and the need for engineering technology persons is large.It is studied that the lack of technician especially the senior technician has been the key problem in the developing of Anhui province.So as the main education base of technicians,the local technical and vocational colleges have the responsibility for cultivating qualified technical persona.So as to train a large number of the senior technicians,the professional and technical Colleges must have enough Double-professionally-titled teachers who are not only have wide and solid theories,but also the practices on engineering.Nowadays,the problems on the number and the quality of the teachers major in engineering have been the key to develop the higher vocational education.As a result,having qualified professional teachers is the most important problem to handle.At the beginning of the paper,there is a discussion about the differences between the normal higher education teachers and higher vocational education teachers and the particularities of the vocational education teachers.The conclusion is that technical and vocational colleges need the Double-professionally-titled teachers;and further discussion demonstrates the situations of higher vocational education teachers in America,German, Japan and Australia.The study is in four directions:record of formal schooling,practice of engineering,knowledge of education and educational psychology,and certificate; Then,also in the four directions,the paper studies the conditions of the professional teachers in Anhui professional and technical colleges,and finds the problems existing in quality of the professional teachers working at the professional and technical colleges.At last,the paper puts forward some suggestions and the achievement of this study can provide educational guarantee for Anhui province.
