This paper adopts a particular method to arouse the teachers in the front line to take on a new perspective , a new attitude and a new approach to the classroom and students by constructing the harmonious relationship between teachers and students as the conditions and promises and even the contents and tasks to carry out the new curriculum and teaching reforms.The introduction deals with various theoretical researches home and abroad about the relationship between teachers and students,concluding that it will have considerable influence over the teaching and learning initiative,the classroom atmosphere,the input of teaching information,the administration of classroom and the socialization of students's personality.Chapter 1 advances five new perspectives to improve the relationship between teachers and students by conducting a survey of the present situation of the relationship between junior middle school teachers and students in three cities and analysing the specific data.Chapter 2 points out a new type of harmonious relationship between teachers and students needed in the new curriculum and explains the contents and function by comparing the new and old curriculum and analysing the effects both the two types of curriculums have on the relationship.An opinion of constructing a shared teaching relationship,a loving feeling relationship and a demoratic ehics relationship is set up in Chapter 3,by discussing the principle of constructing the harmonious relationship and defining the roles of teachers and students in the process.The appendix lists a typical case of poor relationship between teachers and students and five successful cases.
