Independent learning theory as the new development of cognitive learning theory, is the growing Western popular learning theory. It uses a whole new way to interpret the education and teaching, and offers a new perspective for the Chinese teaching of junior high school. But there are still a number of historical and realistic problems in the current Chinese teaching of junior high school. Some problems have increasingly become the bottleneck which restricts the healthy development of Chinese education .Thus we are unable to achieve the final purpose of education : developing the quality of people overall. And the "self-learning" provides necessary requirements and important ways for a person's lifelong development . So how to improve the self-learning capacity of students is an urgency .There is no doubt that it is inevitable to reform the current classroom teaching and rethink their teaching design. This paper attempts to consider self-learning theories as a guide , analysis the various elements of the teaching process , the junior high school Chinese teaching design as a breakthrough, and builds up a new teaching system , so that the study can provide a workable model of teaching for Chinese teaching of junior high school , and finally makes the independent learning ability of students in the classroom get a better training and development.
