With the pushing forward of the new national curriculum, more and more people begin to realize the concepts--student-centeredness, transformation of study methods and development of curriculum materials. The use of the textbooks published by Jiangsu Educational Press offers a chance to carry out the theory of the new national curriculum and deepen the reform in the new national curriculum. The great aim of Chinese-teaching is to raise students' ability in the learning and using of Chinese. The contents of ancient Chinese in the textbooks published by Jiangsu Educational Press are compiled in a particular way, providing students a new stage to achieve their goal in learning ancient Chinese. Compared to the past, teaching aim, teaching material, as well as teaching purpose have changed. Chinese teaching in the new situation calls for the suitable teaching strategy.This article believed that the new textbook has its own bright compilation characteristic. And the texts of ancient Chinese have the value orientation person book to melt, the text arrangement topic to present characteristics and so on way inquisition. The new textbook has manifested many new teaching ideas, formulates the teaching strategy important basis. It should be taken as a goal to make the student to domain development in learning ancient Chinese. The teaching strategy both must manifest the new curriculum idea, and must glow the traditional language teaching art the charm. Only then like this, we can overcome the malpractice raise teaching benefit when we use the old teaching material in ancient Chinese teaching. So we can enable the curriculum reform to obtain truly carries out, make the student to benefit, presse the teacher to grow.Based on the new curriculum and the new textbooks, this research sets forth four teaching strategies in Ancient Chinese teaching according to the teaching and the students in middle schools. They are: the combination strategy, research strategy, reading strategy and assessment strategy for development. The four teaching strategies are raised with the purpose of updating the teaching theory, altering old study methods, raising teaching level, developing the value of the ancient Chinese teaching to full, increasing the students' ability in Chinese language and laying a good foundation in the related fields.
