The new fundamental course indicates clearly that all should focus on the development of students. The terminal purpose of education is to promote human's development in perfect harmony as much as possible. Compared to other subjects, Chinese Teaching has a leading and fundamental effect on it. In present teaching system, Chinese teaching should concentrate on life-oriented theory, based on our life world and go by a vehicle of Chinese classes to improve every life, which can counterpunch the serious mental dissimilation of people strongly, while bringing a new way to people's overall development.The definition o the Life-oriented education is philosophically clarified in this thesis, on the basis of which follows an innovative concept—the life-oriented Chinese teaching with three essential features, i.e. cultivating humanism, advocating student-teacher interaction and advancing students' personality.However, there are also all kinds of Non-life-oriented situations, i.e. lack of interaction, ignorance of students' self-development, dullness of the selected materials and regardlessness of students' life value tropism. Meanwhile, it reveals their fundamental roots.Faced with the actuality of classroom teaching, the Ministry of education organized a group of educational theorists and working experts, having work out The Standard for Chinese Course of Senior Schools (trial). From the new standards, we could find happily that: students appear as lively being in the new educational background, which provides the life-oriented Chinese teaching with policy guarantee and theory argumentation. On this basis, the life-oriented teaching newly-built in practice will shift from teaching to learning to generate students' potential; form informing to experiencing to perceive life value; from the course book to society to advance students' aspiration; from unity to individuality to develop themselves freely.The advantage of Life-oriented Chinese teaching is that it improves out teaching ideology from the old-fashioned knowledge-based to the life-based, emphasizing the students' growing process, interactive communication, experiencing, and self-promoting, thus making the teaching a course of life-circulation and perfection.
