Basic Education reform has spread around China quickly these years. Curriculum reform will achieve the goal of students-centered quality education and restructure a curriculum system on the basis of long-life PE and health first. On the civic, provincial and countryside working conference, our government enacted some working documents about vocational education. It's clear that vocational education is playing an important role in Chinese education. As part of vocational education, research in PE in secondary vocational school seems to be very necessary.My research concentrates on the content of PE in secondary vocational school. By means of literature and questionnaire, I made further analysis in the content of PE in secondary vocational school. After mathematical analysis, I have drawn a conclusion. That is, there lies many problems in the content of the current curriculum. These problems limit teachers' development and choice, meanwhile, the current content of PE falls behind the times, disjoints with the long-life PE, lacks in pragmatism and so on.With reference to the theory, thought, framework and demand of basic education reform, adopting qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods, I proved the necessity in the PE reform in secondary vocational school. On the practical basis of questionnaire samples and the theoretical basis of PE curriculum criterion in high school, I made systematic analysis and research and found the theoretical basis, the principles and the suggestions for choosing, developing and restructuring the content of PE in secondary vocational school.
