Exists between vocational schools and the local economy a certain interaction betweenthe establishment and development of the local economy driven by the rise in vocationalschools, the local economy has brought opportunities for transformation and innovationopportunities for the further development of vocational education. In this paper, in view of theinteraction between vocational education and economic development, research developmentof vocational schools in the face of local economic transformation, how professional settingsas a basis for adjustment and reform curriculum, restructuring and development to meet thedemand for qualified personnel in order to facilitate more good service in local economicdevelopment.The author of this article first defines the key issues related to the definition, that adetailed explanation of economic restructuring, the meaning of vocational education,professional and curriculum system, then the correlation between the two vocational schoolsand local economic development process for the transition between Research discussed,followed by the topic selected for two typical cases, which summarize some experience.The topics to Jiexiu example, through literature studies and questionnaires, on thedirection of economic restructuring and development Jiexiu locate and analyze the currentstatus of vocational schools in Shanxi Jiexiu professional setting and curriculum, and thereasons for the problem, and then propose strategy professional setting and curriculum reformin vocational schools Shanxi Jiexiu local economic transformation.
