The promulgation of "the Summary of Elementary education Curriculum Reforms (Implementation)" means that the value reforming in the elementary education curriculum system in our country. At the middle school and high school history curriculum standard further show out the special value of the history disciplines, and emphasis that the unique value of the history discipline lies in promoting the national self-confidence, this also is the eternal topic in middle school history education.This thesis unifies my middle school history educational reform experience for several years, elaborates briefly to the understanding of national self-confidence connotation, and analysis and researches the basic theory which the unique value of middle school history education in promoting the national self-confidence relies on, and from two angles to probe preliminarily how to raise the self-confidence teachers and how to raises the self-confidence students in the middle school history education .
