In today's society,every citizen must have the basic quality is information literacy,and it has become an important component of the comprehensive capacity in integrated human society. In the information society,information literacy level of human people has become an important Influential aspect of a country's competitiveness,and it is causing more and more extensive attention all over the world,so information literacy is gradually added to the education from elementary school to university goals and evaluation system,and has become an important indicator of the overall quality of talent.At present,the cultivation of information literacy is increasingly becoming the world education sector and the community's major theoretical and practical issues.Secondary school students are the successors of society and the cultivation of them is related to the country's future.This paper starts with the study of information literacy connotation,analyzes information literacy education of foreign and domestic status by means of literature study,questionnaire, interviews on the coastal areas secondary school students of Shandong province,investigates the status quo of information literacy,analyzes the survey data,in this way,summarize the status of secondary school students information literacy in this region,and identifies problems in the process of students' information literacy cultivation.This paper brings forward strategies fitted secondary school students' information literacy from the three aspects of family education,social education and school education.This research can also provide ideas to other cities and regions in the primary and secondary information technical education development.This article contains six parts.The first part is the introduction of this research,which takes a whole description of this subject including research background,significance of research at home and abroad,contents and methods of the research.In the second part,the research analyzes and defines the connotation of the information literacy of secondary school students after the discussion of the connotation of information literacy,defines the connotation of information literacy from the concept,development and evolution,points out the four aspects of connotation including information awareness,information knowledge,information capacity and information ethics,and foster right understanding to information literacy.The third part is to survey and analyze the information literacy of secondary school students in coastal areas of Shandong province.In order to make study more targeted,the research only selects four coastal city secondary school students in Shandong Province to survey.Through the design of the questionnaire,statistics of the questionnaire data,this paper analyzes the status of secondary school students' information literacy in this region and outlined the reasons impacting information literacy.The fourth part is the secondary school students' cultivation strategy of information literacy.It is a long-term task for social,family and school to make a close co-operation.Partâ…¤is a summary and prospect.It includes the conclusion of the study,research gaps and further research.
