With increasing advancement and further development in the reform of basic education courses, the problem of primary and middle school teachers' quality in the countryside become more and more prominent. The low quality of teachers makes it hard for them to handle the brand-new teaching concept and a majority of village teachers can't meet the requirement of courses reform. To enhance the training of primary and middle school teachers in the countryside becomes the key element to carry out and carry through reforms of basic education in the countryside. But the present training system, training personnel, training content and methods, training courses and materials in the countryside couldn't satisfy the real needs of village teachers' training. The negligence in official concept, the evaluation system of entrance exam for senior high school and the lagging in personnel system reform severely hinders development of course reform and corresponding normal training. The enhancement of training primary and middle school teachers in the countryside should be in accordance with local situation and there is also an urgent need in the reform of present personnel policies and exam system. We should arouse the enthusiasm of headmasters and teachers so as to strengthen the training of teachers and establish a variety of training patterns with clear objective, high efficiency and strong practicality. We should set up a qualified training team of professionals and non-professionals who know the characteristics of village education. Teachers who undertake training tasks should keep up with the development of modern times and be well informed of the practical situation of primary and middle school education in the countryside so that they can combine the training content closely with course reform and precisely put the educational concept into practice. Through class demonstration and teaching by personal experience, the trainers thus can help trainees solve the actual problems in classroom teaching directly. We should encourage the village teachers to participate in course reform so as to promote the specialized development of primary and middle school teachers in countryside. We should reinforce the construction of county-level teachers training institutions. These institutions will shoulder the great burden of training primary and middle school teachers in countryside in the way of organizing, coordinating, conducting, managing and serving, thus they become the indispensable components in promoting village teachers training. Administrative departments for education should stick to the principle of "small organization, multifunction, great service", as is announced by Ministry of Education. They should optimally allocate resources, actively propel the integration of teachers training, cadres training, audio-visual education, teaching and researching. Schools in the countryside should fully employ the advantage of school-level training, boost school-level teaching and researching activities and form the system of promoting teachers' specialized development. They should create a school culture of caring for each other, helping each other and learning from each other. Schools should become a place for teachers to pursue a career and keep on learning as well as a place for students to develop themselves. As abovementioned, those are the measures to enhance the practical efficiency of primary and middle school teachers training.
