With the rapid development of science and technology, the application of mathematics was got more attention in various fields. As a result, the mathematical model that use to solve the practical problems has emerged as the times require. Nowaday, it is appeared to be particularly important in the promotion of quality education. In 2003, it has been officially written in the high school education standards that the mathematical modeling to be as the teaching content of high school mathematics. The standards have clearly announced that mathematical modeling, mathematical exploration and mathematical culture are all important content of high school mathematical curriculum. During high school, we should at least assign a thorough mathematical modeling and mathematical exploration activity.The paper is composed of five chapters. The first chapter has collected the massive material. elaborated some related questions of the mathematical model and the mathematics modeling and stated the present situation of mathematics modeling in domestic and foreign high school's teaching research.
