Zhangjian's vocational education theory appeared times character.His theory and practice not only influenced the China society at that times,but also edified modern people.Because Zhangjian's times is special,to study his thinking is a difficult and sensitive,especially in the new institution to develop vocational education.In my study,Zhangjian's vocational education and practice is set forth in detail in three main parts.In the first part,my thesis introduces Zhangjian's legend,his historic background,and the influence of traditional and western culture,which leads to the development of his vocational education.In the second part,Zhang's vocational education thinking and practice is introduced.At the same time,the study finds the soul of Zhangjian's vocational education thinking is the close combination of industry and education.This part discourses upon the idea of running the school,the pattern of management,the thought of educating students,the route of developing school.In the term of running a school,guided by the thought of strengthening country,enlightenment and requirement,Zhang thought the aim of vocational education is to strengthen country,enlighten people's wisdom and meet the need of local economy and social development.Zhang insisted the training pattern focused on the professional skill training,which is reflected on the course setting and practice.Zhang emphasized the development of selfhood and called for students to do well in the virtue and skill.Concerning the development route of the vocational education,Zhang thought it should be emphasized on the combination of industry and schools.What he thought above reflected industry and education need each other.Where there is industry,there is education.The third part points out the advancement and limitation,evaluates Zhangjian's vocational education thinking impersonally,and combines the fact of current vocational education to put forward some ideas and advice,which is to set up vocational education system meeting the need of economy development,start the route of combination of schools and enterprises to obtain employment and emphasize on the skill training.The thesis has absorbed and reflected the past and latest research achievements in the academic circle at home and abroad.At the same time it lays great stress on the scope of access to the research and made some novel inventions.First,in the process of researching,Zhang jian's thinking of vocational education and his practice is put in the background of history,what is success and what is created is systemized and analyzed.Second,in the thesis,not only Zhang's thinking of vocational education and practice itself,but also its path of transmutation and features are studied.Finally,its influence and impacts on the present is taken notice of.All in all,the thesis is systemizing and comprehensive crossly and profound in depth,it is the reflection of the characteristic of its time as well as the significance of reality.
