Conception of learning means the concept that guiding the students' learning or people's basic viewpoints towards learning.Why do learners study,what to study,and how to study are all among the study topics of conception of learning,that is learning aim,learning content, learning method.Under the new round of elementary education curriculum reform ideas,normal universities students as the future teachers,it is very important for them to set up the correct conception of learning.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the normal universities students' conception of learning on chemistry,the present study studies their conception of learning and present a brilliant design.This paper consists of six parts:introduction,the body part which contains four parts and the conclusion.In the introduction part,the author presents the study purpose and the significance of the present study with the definitions of the main terms in this paper.In the first part,the author presents a detailed literature review and the theoretical background.Brief introductions of the studies on this topic are presented both at home and abroad.As to the domestic studies,they are introduced through the study in three aspects as towards the traditional Chinese conception of learning,towards the general conception,of learning and towards the scholars' current study concepts under the trend of the new curriculum reform.Three theoretical basics are given a detailed description.The second part is mainly about the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the normal universities students' conception of learning on chemistry.The author designs a questionnaire in terms of the purpose,contents,methods and the interests of learning.It is shown that the normal universities students are with explicit study purpose,but are not satisfied with the contents and the curriculum settings.As gradually accept the ideas of new curriculum reform, they meet many difficulties in the process of practicing a new studying way.They have strong interest in chemistry,considering it as practical and close to living,but they are not satisfied with the cramming teaching method.In the third part,the main part of the present study,based on the new curriculum reform ideas,the author proposed four types of conception of learning,namely as the conception of independence learning,inquiry learning,cooperative learning and innovative learning respectively.As to each type,the author makes a detailed explanation of their content,the main characteristics,the reason for them,and the attitudes of normal universities students towards them.In the fourth part,the author concludes the factors that may impact the cultivating of the conception of learning and proposes some suggestions on how to cultivate correct study concepts. As to the impacting factors,the author divided into two parts,the inner factors which consist of the motivation,interest,the value orientation,self-awareness of professional development,and the outer ones that contain family,university and teacher,the employment situation,the new curriculum reform ideas.In the conclusion part,the author mentions about the limitation of the present study,talking about the potential reasons why the new conceptions of learning cannot go smoothly in the study and propose some suggestions for further study.
