Fdi On The Employment Impact Of The Northeast Region

Since China joined WTO, the total amount scale of the China Northeast area's utilized FDI has been increasing year by year. The foreign capital has played a more and more important role in the process of the old Northeastern industrial base's promotion. Nowadays, with the fluctuation of international finance market becoming more and more serious, the uncertain factors which China confronted are experiencing an obviously increase. Under this background, it is a great subject for achieving sustainable development in Northeast Old Industrial base to study how to improve the economic social overall development by utilizing the foreign direct investment and to alleviate employment pressure. This paper choose the status of foreign direct investment and employment in China Northeast as the starting point, combining with theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, emphatically demonstrating the influence of FDI impacting on the employment quantity, employment qualify and employment structure. Then, the writer puts forward some proposals and measures on how to increase the level of employment through direct foreign investment in China Northeast.
