The head teacher,as the youngest head teacher in the school,plays a role of bond that cannot be ignored between the school and students.If the strength of the headmaster's competence means the level of the school,then the head teacher's competence determines the stability of the school foundation.The research on the competency assessment of primary school head teachers can provide an objective basis for the training,selection and training of primary school head teachers.However,most of the current researches on the competency of primary school head teachers are in the aspect of the construction of competency characteristic model.The research on the competence assessment of primary school head teachers has important theoretical significance and practical urgency.The whole content of the paper can be summarized as follows,that is:based on two questions,around a focus and did three things.Two problems are :(1)the head teacher as a whole error,parents and teachers have complaints;(2)the head teacher takes up his post without training.A focal point is: primary school head teacher competency assessment.Three things are :(1)the primary school teacher in charge of the main work analysis;(2)constructing the primary school head teacher competency model;(3)the development of primary school teacher competency situational judgment test.After a series of studies,the following conclusions are drawn:Results analysis of data through a structured interview primary school teacher in charge's competence characteristics have 20 items,respectively is: goal-oriented,maintain class order and organization and coordination,according to their aptitude,the class cadre training,analytical thinking,professionalism,flexibility,reflection,class planning,responsibility,learning,innovation,influence,initiative,self control,resources development and utilization,the good faith integrity,interpersonal understanding,communication and coordination,information seeking.The results of cluster analysis show that their competency structure includes five dimensions: management characteristics,cognitive characteristics,personality characteristics,influence characteristics and achievement characteristics.The writer use behavior event interviews to find typical situation and develop the situation judgment of primary school head teacher competence.This project needs rich research resources and the development procedure is very complex,but the compiled "situation judgment test of primary school head teacher competency" has very good reliability and validity.Based on the above conclusions,this study believes that the study on the competency assessment of primary school head teachers can promote the development of the research field,and the study on the competency of primary school head teachers can provide content and methods for the training and training of primary school head teachers.Behavioral situational judgment test is a reliable tool to evaluate the competence of primary school head teachers.It can accurately measure the competent level of primary school head teachers.For overcoming excessive reliance in experience,Primary school head teacher training and selection are bond to make full use of the results of competency research.
