Along with the change of the education focus and the reforms of the geography curriculum, the requirement of teacher-student relationship, teaching methods, teaching evaluation changes as well. It requires geography teachers in the sight of researchers to survey classroom teaching with the correct views of students, development, knowledge, curriculum and evaluation. It also requires geography teachers to carry on intensive observation, reflection and exploration into teaching problems and teaching behavior. So as first-line high school geography teacher, how to correct understanding of the classroom observation? How to carry out classroom observation in? How to participate in classroom observation under the current conditions? Based on the above, the research and the practice on the geography classroom observation have some theoretical and practical value. They echo the new curriculum reform in high school geography, origin in geography class and are put into practice.At the theoretical level, the thesis provides theoretical support and practical simple process. It defines the concept of classroom observation, analyzes and compares classroom observation with traditional lecture activities, compares the relationship between classroom assessment and communication . It explores the theoretical basis of classroom observation and analyzes of the structure of classroom observation, interprets its meaning.At the practical level, the results of the questionnaire and the classroom observation provides the present status of high school geography classroom , providing useful information to improve the behavior of classroom observations. Four classroom observation activities provide front-line experience to carry out classroom observations in geography class.
