Aboriginality of homeschooling in America had appeared in the time of colony. Homeschooling in America rose in 60's 20th century. After decades of development, homeschooling has won the recognition from American government and the public. At present, homeschooling has obtained the legal status in American 50 states, and still expanded by the strong tendency. More importantly, according to standard test, students in the home school scored higher than public school students in many aspects. the number of student in homeschooling has rise, and the phenomena has been extend other countries. so homeschooling has aroused the concern of all walks of life. In view of phenomena the quality of homeschooling education has being superiors to quality of quality of public school, this article aims to analysis and discuss status of quality of homeschooling and its security system.The thesis consists of four parts.The preface expounds and differentiates the concept of homeschooling, family education and schooling, and at the same time, the part introduces the overview of related study.Part one describes historical development of homeschooling in America. Homeschooling can be traced back as early as the 17th century. At that time, many of the family had to assume development of American capitalism and the baptism of public education campaigns, the country found public education system and homeschooling education the declined. From 50s 20th century to 70s 20th century, homeschooling experience rise and controversy. Form the 80's 20th century to the present, homeschooling education has gradually improved and got the approval and support of various sections of society, which becomes major reason for the growth of the population of homeschooling. In December 2008 a report entitled 1.31 Million Homeschooled students in the United States in 2007. And homeschooling population has grown per year with steady speed.Part two describes and analyzes status of homeschooling. This part includes two aspects: student academic achievement in the homeschooling and student socialization in the homeschooling.Part three analyzes assurance system of homeschooling education quality. The first aspect can be traced back to homeschooling illegal to legal history;the second describes that non-governmental organizations is important for homeschooling; the third analyzes that public school is important to homeschooling; the fourth summarizes the characteristics and problems of homeschooling.Part four gives the conclusion of homeschooling.
