In this article,the 505 students in Junior High School,who are living in Yangzhou city Jiangsu province,were taken as the object. Questionnaire and Case Study were used with《Learning Burnout Questionnaire For Middle School Student》,《The Self-Esteem Scale》and《The Achievement Motivation Scale》to analysis and understand the three aspects of the students in Junior High School: learnig burnout,self-esteem and achievement motivation, and to explore the predictive role of self-esteem and achievement motivation toward learnig burnout. Combined with the using of Case Study Method to further explore the way and offer a new researcher perspective to mitigating and prevent learnig burnout.Study results:1,Learnig burnout is widespreadly exists among the junior high school students ,total be placed in medium level,and the low Personal accomplishment is a serious problem.2,The learnig burnout level of the boys is more obviously higher than the girls; The learnig burnout level of the high grade is more obviously higher than the lower one; the one whose learning status is bad ,the learnig burnout level of him is more obviously higher the others; The learnig burnout level of the rural students is more obviously higher than those live in city;There are no siginificant differences between OnlyChildren and not; The learnig burnout level of the chairman is more obviously lower than the ordinary; There are no siginificant differences between the different family style; There are no siginificant differences between different family economic status; There are no siginificant differences between different parent's profession ; the parents'educational lever is lower,the students'learnig burnout level is obviously higher.3,The self-esteem of junior high school students is totally in a medium or a bit lower level.4,The achievement motivation of junior high school students is totally in a medium or a bit higher level.5,Self-esteem has negative correlation with learning burnout and its three parts significantly; the motivation of pursuing success has negative correlation with learning burnout and its three parts significantly; the motivation of preventing fail has positive correlation with learning burnout and its three parts significantly.6,Self-esteem exerts a significant negative forecast function to the learning burnout;the motivation of preventing fail exerts a significant positive forecast function to the learning burnout's amount; the motivation of pursuing success exerts a significant negative forecast function to the learning burnout.7,Self-esteem combined with the motivation of pursuing and the motivation of preventing fail exerts a significant function together by the combined function of low Personal accomplishment,Emotional exhaustion and estranged and the motivation of preventing fail is the most siginificant aspect to influence learning burnout.In the end, it offers some suggestions as for how to mitigating and prevent learnig burnout on the bases of the results of Quantitative research and Case Study.
