Since the 1980s, the education reform whose goal is high quality is vigorous in the United States, basic education curriculum reform and teacher education reform are its two important aspects, and they are consequential, dependent on each other. Along with carrying forward of the basic education curriculum reform, teachers'qualities become the hot concern, new requirements for teachers'qualities must be reflected in teachers'education curriculum and it can be said that the curriculum reform of basic education promote the launch of the teacher education reform. What's more, a direct result of teacher education's development is improving teachers'qualities; the improving of teacher's qualities is bound to advance the basic education curriculum reform to develop mechanized deeply. Thus, in this open, large-scale system of education reform, curriculum reform and teacher education are two important sub-systems, they interact and expedite each other, so that the overall education reform goes forward.On the basis of previous studies, this paper starts from the basic education and teacher education curriculum reforms in the United States, and in a collaborative perspective to explain the United States of basic education and teacher education reform in the late 20th century, at last draw on their common development experiences and lessons and give China's education reform some referential guides.The full-text is divided into four parts:The first part is introduction section. Review and summarize the research achievements about the United States curriculum reform and teacher education reform in the last twenty years, and identify the deficiencies of previous studies, and established the innovative point of this study.The second part is the theoretical basis of this study, briefly introduce the post-modernist philosophy, constructivism epistemology and collaborative theories, and point out the theoretical significance for this study.The third part is the focus and core of this article, carding the curriculum reform and teacher education reform started from 1980s systematically, and on this basis, to extract the cooperation mechanism of curriculum reform and teacher education reform.The fourth part is the inspiration for Chinese education reform. With the U.S. experience in educational reform and the reality of Chinese education reform in theory and practice, put forward some proposals about reform and development.
