Home-school Co-operation In The Survey About Colleges And Universities For Study

Home-school co-operation are more and more getting much attention in many countries and regions. As China's reform and opening-up, the function of education in social development has become increasingly prominent. Community participation in education has become an important trend in the development of education, many countries have adopted various forms to link the connections of the community and schools. Home-school co-operation is an indispensable component in the whole education system. In the process of cultivating talented people for the community, the unilateral power of schools is very weak in the education environment, while the family education plays a particularly important role in the ideological and political education of college students. The measures of building a home-school education platform and forming an education force have a positive meaning for cultivating university students. Universities must pay attention to the educational training for parents, create activity centers of parents, establish a long-term mechanism of communications, actively create an atmosphere of cooperative education, establish an cooperative education idea of "people-oriented, service talent", and form a pro-active, equal and harmonious relationship, explore the approach of "the times, scientific and effective". This requires schools to establish the scientific concept of education development. While improving itself and the environment, the schools must treasure the coordination and collaboration with family to comprehensively promote the quality of education and personnel training.Great emphasis is placed on improving the political quality of the whole nation by the State, Especially that of the university students. Particularly the CPC Central Committee and State Council in 2004 No.16 document "Circular on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education" clearly points out:"Schools should explore to establish mechanisms of family communication with the students. Schools and families should coordinate their separate efforts to educate students in ideology and politics." Through the co-operation between university and the family, it is very important to improve the school's social reputation, adjust the school structures and training model, and promote the quality of school.The paper investigated the questions of co-operation between universities and the families of three universities in Jining area. The survey employs a form of questionnaire in terms of the issue on the current understanding of cooperation, patterns, family educations, and communications. The object includes the parents of students and the teachers in university. The aim is to ensure that the results are scientific and efficient by measuring and testing the survey.Through the survey, I found that there are some problems on cognition, methods, family educations, and communications in universities in Jining during the process of cooperation with families. The paper analyzed the causes, and tried to put an improved response. In order to achieve the cooperation between universities and parents, firstly we must enhance the awareness of consciousness of cooperation, make clear the responsibility of both parties in the process of cooperation, make use of the valuable resources of students'parents groups, actively explore and broaden cooperation channels; additionally it is an important factor in effective collaboration to establish the necessary organization and security; finally, it has become a major progressive trend in education to widely mobilize social forces to set up a wide range of top-down parent committees organization and to mobilize community involvement. The cooperation of China's universities with the families causes widespread concern in this area, and this exploration is gradually maturing. It needs the whole society to make joint efforts.The research of collaborative between universities and families is still in initial exploratory phase. The paper will be helpful to understand the current status of cooperation between universities and the family, and it has a certain reference value for how to improve the cooperation.
