For a long time, school education is given the high expectation, but when theschool education can’t meet the social requirement, it’s hard for people to make theiraspiration come true; people start to accuse the school education. After all, the schooleducation can’t do everything for young people, which means the education of youngpeople can’t only rely on the school education, it is very important for the wholesociety especially family to take part in school education. Family and school as twoimportant bases for the teenagers growing, it should provide the good externalenvironment for the healthy growth of the teenagers. Education field is undergoingprofound and extensive change; the influence of family education on school educationhas caused wide public concern. How to communicate effectively between family andschool has been a hot issue in today’s education reform.Therefore,this study bases on the general theory of home-school communication,through the survey the current situation of home-school communication of Y middleschool of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to find problems and analyze whatcauses the problems, then giving the suggestions to improve the home-schoolcommunication of Y school.This study mainly consists of seven parts:The first part is an introduction about the origin and significance of this study.The second part is to define the conception of home-school communication, andthen to summarize the domestic and foreign-related literature about the home-schoolcommunication.The third part is based on the theory of home-school communication to discussthe possibility for researching this study.The fourth part is an introduction about the study design and methods.This partalso presents the establishment of the investigative tool and the implementation of thesurvey.The fifth part is an investigation of the current situation of home-schoolcommunication of Y middle school of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this study works out through the questionnaire and interview of teachers and parents, andthe interview of school administrators.The sixth part is to analyze the influenced factors of Y middle school onhome-school communication according to the research results.The seventh part is countermeasures and suggestions, according to the results ofthis study, giving corresponding realistic suggestions respectively to the parents,teachers and school.
