Interaction Between County Towns And The New Socialist Countryside Construction

Faced with new situations and new problems in China's urban-rural relations, the CPC Central Committee put forward a major strategic move of constructing a new socialist countryside in a new period of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society in order to comprehensively implement the scientific outlook on development, coordinate the urban and rural development and solve the issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers. The proposal is of great significance to make the rural economy flourish, increase farmers'income, improve the rural environment and narrow the urban-rural gap as well as build a harmonious society. As an important basis and support for the national economy, county towns are an important platform and starting point to promote the construction of a new socialist countryside. To speed up economic development and promote the new socialist countryside construction, there is a need to develop county towns as an important carrier, so we should co-ordinate urban and rural development strategy to accelerate the development and growth of county towns and the building of a new socialist countryside, combining efforts to explore a new way of integrating Urban-rural Development.However, in reality, the building of a new socialist countryside and the construction of county-level towns disjoint, separate, and even contradict each other. The county towns not only fail to give the role full play in promoting the construction of a new countryside, but also waste and occupy resources for rural development, thus affecting the development of county towns and a socialist countryside. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze county-level towns and the interaction between the construction of a new countryside and county towns and put forward effective measures and ideas.This paper focuses on the interaction between county-level towns and the construction of a new socialist countryside and how to bring the role of the interaction into full play, which is also a weak link in the theory of county towns and the construction of a new socialist countryside. This study is of great theoretical value for the further deepening of theories on county-level towns and the construction of a new countryside. It is also meaningful as to forming a new theory of an positive interaction between the two and building a moderately prosperous society. While the paper is also of important significance and practical value to play the active role of the interaction between county towns and the construction of a new socialist countryside, set forth policies and measures to promote the positive interaction between county-level towns and the construction of a new socialist countryside, thus accelerating the common development of county towns and the construction of a new socialist countryside.
