The Reality Of College Life Moral Inquiry

Moral internalization of contemporary college students is a prominent dilemma of the colleges in our country. The theory of moral and the practice do not co-exist among most of the students. The fact that they can not live a moral life is a distinct manifestation. This is due to the disadvantages of moral education in colleges, namely, the tendency of intellectual education of college moral education, its idealization, politicalization, and utility. This thesis based on Mr John Dewey's"Education is life"and"life is education"of Tao Xingzhi, aim to break through the dilemma of university moral education, bring the education of life into colleges and reveal the important connotation of college moral education, that is, moral education comes from life, carrys on in life, goes back to life. At last, this thesis also suggest that life moral education is an ideal way in achieving the moral internalization of contemporary college students. College life moral education calls for careful analysis and understanding of the reality of college student s, to promote the subjectivity of college students. In order to help the students in achieving emulation of life, life moral education has to be based on the principle of collectivism, its core is to promote the students to practice altruism, the ideal is to help to build up the Idiopathic Spontaneous moral personhood. College life moral education calls for the set up of a versant system of life education, the practice is based on the principle of emancipate the mind, seek truth from facts, the process is"activity-creation-understanding-emulation. By attracting college students into the entreneurial activity in the college, to introduce apprenticeship in the college, an ideal environment is created by both and the students. College life moral education is to take measures to promote the moral practice and reflection of college students, to lead the students to live a moral life.
