Education is a systematic framework, composed of schools, families and society respectively. In order to foster the development both in students' mental and physical well-being, families and schools must enhance each other's mutual collaboration and support. So far, a booklet called "home-school in touch" can be found in many students' backpacks, which is worth congratulation. The booklets reflect schools'open-minded attitude by taking the initiative to gain family education's support and coordination, thus revealing the potential further cooperation between teachers and parents. Nevertheless, some unsatisfying drawbacks can be easily traced:being inflexible in record contents, negative effects on students' physiological well-being, unilateral contact between families and schools, the neglect of students-orientation etc. Therefore, how to uplift the contact between schools and families to a new level by discarding the dross and selecting the essentials as well as improving the contents is the main focus of the following essay. The essay is verified with the practical applications to students, teachers and parents by the widespread surveys among them, which, I hope, would make the booklets "home-school in touch" students- oriented, thus endowing the booklets with manifold functions, such as connections, assessment, supervision management, self-evaluations etc.The essay analyzes the current booklets "home-school in touch" available to expose its inadequacy in the form of documental analysis and investigation. Meanwhile, based on the advanced ideology of close partnerships between schools and families plus the concept of human-oriented development, concerning the present communication needs among schools, teachers and families, the essay formulates an upgraded version of "home-school in touch" and accordingly comes up with requirements and suggestions to better the service for teachers, parents and students.The essay consists of five chapters. The first chapter mainly highlights the application of the present version available, including what is Home-school in touch and its strength and weakness. The second chapter concerns the ideology of the latest upgraded version, focusing on Home-school cooperation, Human-orientation developmental evaluation,the needs among teachers, schools and students together with a simple statement of survey process and consequence. The third chapter states the fundamental principles, templates and some initiative suggestions of the upgraded one, involving the cover design, daily mode design, weekends design, vocation design ect. The fourth part is concerned with basic tactics and the last part is about the examination of the upgraded version.
