Home-school collaboration is an effective means to promote students’development harmoniously. Schools and families use effective means to conductcomprehensive and timely assessments for students is a trend in the current educationalpolicy and educational development and it is also a new requirement for educationproposed by sustainable development.This paper aims to solve the problems in China’s current basic schools`home-school collaboration and traditional education evaluation by using questionnaires,interviews, case study method, action research and other methods. Paotongshu Primaryschool in Chengdu is selected as the research object, building network platform, fullytaping and using the rich resources of parents, using school and family intervention topromote the common development of primary school students. This not only conformsto the requirements of educational environment but also is based on the school’slong-term practice of outstanding project along with the time, and it has importantguiding significance for primary schools in exploring viable home-school modelaccording to their own advantage.This paper is divided into four parts discussing the applied research of primaryschool students`developmental evaluation in home-school collaboration based onnetwork platform. Part one is introduction. On the basis of the discussion of the research meaning andresearch background, this paper proposes the issues to be addressed, research objectives,research contents, research methods, research programs and so on.Part two is literature review. According to the relevant aspects involved in thisresearch, this paper first makes a comprehensive analysis of the current domestic"home-school collaboration"; secondly, this paper illustrates the understanding of the"primary school students`developmental evaluation" on several aspects: the historicalprocess of student evaluation, the content, the features, the theoretical basis, basicstrategy, practice problems, developing evaluation in new curriculum reform. Then, thispaper locates "education network platform" advantages from the aspects of intuitive,timeliness, operability and evaluate diversity. Finally, this paper introduces theresearches in the application of online developmental evaluation in home-schoolcollaboration.Part three is about practical strategies. Firstly, this paper analyzes the basic situationof the school and the problems in home-school collaboration and traditional evaluation,and then puts forward the necessity and importance of this study. Secondly, from theperspective of information technology in education, this paper does analysis of needs ofPaotongshu Primary school’s application of educational evaluation in home-schoolcollaboration through informational means; thirdly, this paper constructs theoreticalframework from aspects of fundamental point of view, the core knowledge, evaluationcontents and evaluation criteria; fourthly, from a practical level, this paper proposes aseamlessly connected multi-space for teachers and parents, personalized evaluationplatform builded by eight modules, practical system of "three all" developing evaluationconcept and so on.Part four is the conclusion. This paper firstly summarizes the theoretical foundationand basic concepts of this study; secondly, this paper summarizes several importantissues in home-school collaboration–the answers to the questions of “Why we needhome-school collaboration”,“What participants are in home-school collaboration”,“How to collaborate”, and “How to collect collaboration data”.; thirdly, this paperproposes follow-up study space for other research in the future.
