This paper summarizes the relationship between regional higher education and regional economic and elaborates the new economic growth theory, the adaptability theory of higher education to promote the core of the theory of economic development. Secondly, this paper put forward the pursuit to higher education on the regional economic development in Heilongjiang Province, which are the economic structure of Heilongjiang province to Heilongjiang province higher education demand and the economic development of Heilongjiang province to Heilongjiang province higher education demand transformation. In Heilongjiang Province, the current situation of higher education and regional economic relations are based on the quantitative analysis, in-depth analysis of the higher education in Heilongjiang Province in the coordinative development of regional economy and the problems in the process of. Finally, I advice to put forward the clear orientation, optimizing subject structure and professional structure, improve the personnel training mode, strengthen the scientific research function, enhance the service function of the government to play a leading role.
