In the era of knowledge economy, knowledge workers become the most important human capital of enterprises, especially those with knowledge workers innovation ability, is vital to the development of enterprises. In the information technology enterprise employees work is the creative staff, the staff in their companies accounted for a small, complex, difficult to measure the effectiveness of features, how to effectively enhance the performance management of these employees have become difficult.In order to explore the methods of performance management for information technology staff, establish an excellent information technology staff performance management system, this article is divided into two parts, respectively, were studied by methods of theoretical and empirical research.Starting from the basic theory of knowledge type employee performance management of work study, information technology staff, the staff performance into task performance and contextual performance, deferred performance, analysis of the three performance affect with each other, the performance management model of information technology staff.This article makes a survey of the M for information technology staff status through employee interviews, the collection problems. Combining the problems found in analysis of performance management strategy of information technology staff, identify the root causes of problems and make analysis. To solve the root problem, this article presents the corresponding solutions.The feature of this article is the performance management of previous scholars rarely involve information technology staff conducted a special learning, the information technology staff performance were comprehensive and in-depth research and analysis, according to the characteristics of information technology to promote the establishment of staff performance management’s model based on employee development. The model shows that:the performance management is a process to improve the gradual performance evaluation and performance. With the help of information technology staff performance model’s analyzing for the presence of M for information technology staff performance problems, analyze the reasons the problem. Through the establishment of performance management of branch of firewall between the human resources department and the information technology department, to ensure the scientific and completely performance management of information technology staff, corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
