With the rapid development of the society, people in the field of vocational pursuits is not merely to the material or promotion, more and more people begin to pay attention to external motivation. People began to pay attention to the significance of their work and the value of their work, their value and so on. People don’t see her career as a source of income. More people see their work as a career, or even calling. Concept of career calling is emerging in recent years. Once laid, received attention from scholars at home and abroad. This will be the "Calling--Psychological empowerment – Work engagement" as a model, based on positive psychology and self-determination theory, working-resource model and borden-build theories, various mechanisms between the variables studied. This study adopts literature analysis and questionnaire investigation for theoretical research and empirical test. Through literature analysis, professional sense, psychological empowerment and systematical study of the work, and the analysis and comparison of each concept, decided the research concept and scale is used, laid the theoretical foundation for the later research. Through the questionnaire, 523 valid questionnaires were collected, the structural equations, linear regression method, Stata13.0, SPSS19.0 and Amos21 software, the questionnaire validity and examine relationships between variables and validate assumptions. Paper research of main conclusion is:(1) calling effect work engagement significantly;(2) calling effect psychological empowerment and the four a dimension of psychological empowerment(meaning, and self-determination, and competence and influence) significantly.(3) Psychological empowerment and four dimensions plays mediation effect on Calling and work engagement.
