Research On Production Improvement Of DS (Nantong) Company Based On Lean Production

With the development of economy and the fierce competition, the enterprise always pursuit on how to realize low cost operation, fast to meet the market demand and enhance enterprise competitiveness. Lean production came from the Japanese Toyota company, more and more enterprises have started to learn the methodology of lean production, implemented in their management system, and have improved the management performance in an effective way.This paper has studied the lean production implementation in DS (Nantong) company, briefly introduced its operations condition, and described the key equipments, technological process, production process, packaging process and warehouse management, then pointed out the key issues, such as production process imbalance, unreasonable packaging layout, low reliability of equipment, low capability and efficiency of warehouse keepers. The company has developed the improvement plan and taken actions, the results proved that they have maken improvements in the cost, production capacity, skills, efficiency and equipment reliability.DS (Nantong) company was a typical pesticide chemical enterprise, it was crucial for them to implement the lean production, so as to improve the management system, intergrate the resource, and cope with the fierce compition. Meanwhile, the application of lean production technology will be positive to encourage more Chinese agrochemical companies to use and popularize.
