Since the reform and opening up, China’s rapid economic development, people’s living standards greatly improved, increasing demand for the tourism industry which enrich people’s spiritual and cultural life. In 2009, the State Council positioned tourism industry to a pillar industry of national economic development. Tourism efficiency is an important measure of the development of tourism industry, the research on tourism efficiency measure and temporal and spatial variation of our country, one can understand the difference between our Provincial Tourism Development and dynamics, forecast the development trend of tourism efficiency,other regard, provide empirical evidence and advice to the relevant departments to make policies to develop the tourism industry and improve the efficiency.In this study, 2003--2013 panel data through data envelopment model for our country tourism efficiency measure, and geographic information systems for spatial and temporal variation of the efficiency of China’s tourism industry will be described,analyzed factors tourism temporal evolution of efficiency, finally, some suggestions.Efficiency analysis section, from scale efficiency, pure technical efficiency and overall efficiency of the three aspects of the evaluation. The study found that the overall efficiency of China’s tourism industry is not high, with an average of only0.452, scale efficiency is slightly higher than the pure technical efficiency. Temporal and spatial variation of tourism efficiency analysis found that the overall efficiency was increased first then down, and steady and rapid growth trend, high efficiency value aggregation hotspots from north to south, from west to east moving, the Southeast long period of hot spots. Using regression analysis to find a correlation between changes in the macroeconomic environment and their own level of development of tourism and the temporal and spatial variation of efficiency. Finally,strengthen government guidance, reasonable layout, increase technology investment,training tourism personnel and other countermeasures. |
