Shandong Provincial Highway Development Planning

The highway network planning is not a totally new subject.Lots of valuable helps could be got from international researches related to the planning.This paper researches the key problem of the planning theory based on the now available basic theories, methods and models,used in the tenth and eleventh five-year plan of highway network planning in Shandong province.This paper puts forward the economic and social development forecast index system based on the accurate analysis;mainly based on the index of modernization,analyzes the development trend of future city space and the influence on the highway transport,future forecast the total demand for the highway transport.This paper analyzes the highway planning levels system,puts forward the three-level planning system containing the total demand, various grade demand and main highway construction project.Moreover ,this paper also analyzes the choice of the planning node,adopting the development node and not present node.
